Microraptor
Tools: Colored Pencil

Despite its name, Microraptor was about the size of a crow. Gliding and kicking off between trees, this close relative of Velociraptor hunted arboreal lizards, and possibly also small fish and even birds. Because of numerous exceptional fossils, its coloration can be inferred from preserved melanosomes in its feathers: it was a solid iridescent black.
