There's a unique allure to the strange, the otherworldly, the few degrees off. When characters exist, they exist within context. When the characters have no context, context must be made. In a world of lumpy, half-baked rag dolls, instinct would suggest their world be made of the same materials as they are. Would that make their world alive as well? What would happen if their world opened up to reveal a greater one, filled with worlds just as alive as their own?
